Quarter Life Crisis

It is 2020 August, and well I guess I am getting old. I couldn't sleep and I can't stop thinking about my plan for this year. What I want to accomplish and what should I do to achive that.

Last year was a year full of revelation for me. I met many people who either gave me a blessing or a lesson. I actually just followed the rhytm. Working at home and socialize with my friends sometimes.

I was happy for a moment and then quarter life crisis hit me in the nails. I become insecure about myself. I start to compare myself to my peers who have figured out what they want in their life. I didn't know what I want honestly. At first I thought money is the answer but it's acually not.

I'm about to share the things I've learned for quarter life of my life.

1. Don't let ego controls you and never walk away mad from you loved one. Life is so precious. One moment someone is here and the next moment they might be gone. I lost my best friends because of my ego and I regret it till the rest of my life. Except that your friend are toxic. You have to throw them into garbage

2. Don't let little things get to you. Doesn't matter if you right and they are wrong. Does it really matter if you fight it out? You might win the fight, but you lose the battle.

3. No one is perfect, including you. Everyone make mistakes. So forgive them and forgive yourself too.

4. Friends come and go. They are always evolving. Sometimes people come into your life at very spesific times to help you get point A to B and then they somehow fade away. And new friend come in. As you know, I don't care about the numbers, I care about the loyalty.

5. Gratitude is a key of happiness.  Always be grateful for what you have. No matter how bad things seems, there's always someone who has it worse. So be grateful.

6. Stop comparing yourself to others. Comparing yourself is a game you will never win. There is always someone out there who has more that you have.

7. Don't take yourself seriously. Laught at yourself, because it feels so good. Trust me

Sometimes we underestimate ourself. We feel that we are not good enough. We feel that we don't deserve what we get. But, always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you serm, and smarter than you think.

But I believe in something on my mind...

Figure out who you truly are. Figure out your weaknesses and fix them.

If you can’t, then figure out what you love, what you’re good at, and what other people need (because you need to get paid).
And then do that for the rest of your life.
